The No. 17 Kentucky Wildcats return to action tomorrow when they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on the road inside Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville.

Kentucky is looking to break out of its two-game losing skid. Vanderbilt beat the Missouri Tigers 68-61 at home on Saturday but had dropped seven straight games before that.

What are three things to know about Vanderbilt?

The Commodores have a dynamic guard duo

Vanderbilt's backcourt is run by Tyrin Lawrence and Ezra Manjon.

Lawrence, a 6-foot-4 senior from Monticello, Georgia, averages 14.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game and shoots 39.4% from the field.

Manjon, a 6-foot senior from Antioch, California, is Vanderbilt's leading scorer at 14.7 points per game. He also averages 3.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game and shoots 44.3% from the field.

Vanderbilt has been more competitive at home

Despite coming into this game at 6-15 (1-7 SEC), the Commodores have been competitive inside Memorial Gymnasium this season.

Vanderbilt has been competitive with teams such as Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee when playing at home.

It is hard to win on the road in college basketball and Vanderbilt will make that as hard for Kentucky as possible.

Vanderbilt's defense can be effective 

The Commodores have held opponents below what they average all season, particularly when playing at home.
