Hawks vs Pelicans Injury Report: Who's Out for the Hawks Tomorrow?
USA TODAY Sports

There has been a new addition to the injury report for the Atlanta Hawks

Rookie Kobe Bufkin has been added to the injury report one day ahead of Atlanta's matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. Bufkin is out with a left thumb fracture. Wesley Matthews is still on the injury report with a mild right calf strain.

Bufkin has not seen much action in the regular season for the Hawks just yet. He played in some blowout run against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday and for one minute against the Timberwolves on Monday. He injured his left thumb during the College Park Skyhawks practice while on his G-League Assignment. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Bufkin was the 15th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and played at the University of Michigan.

Yesterday, the Hawks revealed that Bufkin and forward Mouhamed Gueye had been assigned to the College Park Skyhawks, but they were recalled this morning.
