A positive update has been provided on Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris. NBC sideline reporter Melissa stark provided the news shortly after Harris left Sunday night’s game in an ambulance.
“We have gotten word from the Bills on running back Damien Harris, who was taken off the field in the ambulance. It is a neck injury,” Stark reported. “He does have movement in his arms and his legs and he is being driven right now to the hospital for further testing.”
Harris was hit hard at the line of scrimmage in the second quarter of Sunday’s game between the Giants and Bills. Following the play, he was motionless while on the field.
Medical personnel rushed to his aid. The running back was placed on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation. As he left the field, Harris gave a thumbs up.
